Show up 5+ minutes early to check in at the front counter, grab snacks, and meet the group. We’ll walk through finished examples of circular wall art so you can see how different pigments and “pours” interact with the wood grain before you start. Then you’ll:

• Prep your canvas – work with a beautiful, locally sourced 18″ maple round, prepped and ready for your artistic touch.

• Design your layout – decide on your color flow and composition. Whether you want a “beach waves” look or a full-surface abstract pour, the maple provides a stunning natural backdrop.

• Measure, mix, pigment, and pour – we use a high-quality, 2-part bio-derived epoxy, which you’ll tint with your choice of epoxy dyes.

• Ask anything – from how to avoid bubbles to specific techniques, we’re here to share all our tips and tricks.

• Your custom 18″ maple art – ready for pickup in ~1-2 weeks. We’ll handle the cleanup by sanding off any “epoxicles” (drips) from the bottom and applying a professional matte spray finish for a modern, protected look.

• $100 – All-Inclusive: Covers your 18″ maple round, all epoxy/pigments, and our professional post-class finishing (sanding and sealing).

Wear/Bring

Clothes you don’t mind getting messy. We provide disposable gloves, but epoxy has a way of finding its way onto sleeves!
