About Our Woodshop:
We believe in sustainability, which is why we source our wood locally and process it in-house. By salvaging trees that would otherwise go to waste, we create beautiful furniture while preserving natural resources.
Our Process:
- Repurposing: Native hardwoods are salvaged from our tree service jobs. These trees needed to come down for one reason or another. We do not log or use materials from clear cutting forests.
- Milling:Â A portable bandsaw mill comes to our log yard several times throughout the year to mill slab and dimensional lumber.
- Drying: The lumber is then air dried to (one year per inch in thickness). Once moisture levels are below 20%, it is ready for kiln drying where the moisture is brought down to levels suitable for interior use (6-8%)
- Building:Â Once our material is properly dried, we can begin working with the lumber. We take pride in keeping as much of this process in house as possible. We bring new life to wood that would typically be destined for the dump.

Hourly Milling Services
Need raw lumber processed? Our professional milling services can transform rough logs into perfectly milled slabs and boards. We offer planing, jointing, sanding, and slab flattening using industrial-grade equipment.
Pricing:
- $100 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments after the first hour

- Wide Belt Sanding Up to 37" wide
Custom Kiln Drying
Kiln drying is an essential but often overlooked step of the process. High moisture wood continues to dry inside interior spaces and causes several issues down the road, especially with the extreme humidity swings we see in Minnesota. We offer custom kiln drying services for as little as $250 per order
